Workshops
Practical online workshops that build real communication skills through structured exercises, honest feedback, and collaborative work - not lectures. Accessible from anywhere in Monaghan and beyond.
WHERE MOST PEOPLE
actually get stuck
Knowing what good communication looks like and doing it under pressure are entirely different things. Most training stops at the first part.
Participants arrive having read guides, watched talks, and attended seminars. They still freeze when drafting a difficult email or chairing a tense meeting. The gap is not knowledge - it is repeated, corrected practice in realistic situations.
Each workshop module places you inside a specific scenario: a client complaint, a budget negotiation, a team conflict. You write, speak, and respond - then receive structured feedback before moving forward.
The one thing most visitors wonder
Is this too theoretical?
Every module is built around a specific work situation - not a concept. You practise the thing itself, not a description of it.
Will the schedule fit?
Workshops run asynchronously. You complete exercises when your day allows, within a weekly window - no fixed call times required.
Before the workshop
versus after it
Participants consistently describe the same shift: they stop avoiding difficult conversations and start approaching them with a clear structure.
That shift takes time - typically across a full workshop cycle of 6 to 8 weeks. It is not instant, and it requires genuine engagement with the exercises. Participants who put in partial effort get partial results. That is honest and worth knowing.
WHEN THINGS get difficult
Most people hit a wall around week three - the novelty fades and the harder exercises arrive at the same time. That moment is designed into the structure.

1
What happens if I fall behind on assignments?
Each workshop is structured with buffer time built in. Facilitators review pacing weekly and reach out directly if a participant goes quiet for more than a few days.
-
2
Do I need prior experience in business communication?
No prior formal training is required. Workshops are designed around real situations participants already face, so existing experience becomes the starting point.
-
3
How much time per week does participation require?
Most participants spend between 3 and 5 hours per week, depending on the depth of feedback they choose to give and receive.
The people who built and run this
Ytalex Quantantos was founded in 2019 by practitioners with backgrounds in negotiation training, organisational communication, and adult education. The facilitator team has worked inside companies, not just alongside them.
Sorcha Ó Briain
Programme Director
Sorcha spent eleven years leading internal communications for a mid-size manufacturing group before moving into facilitation. She designed the core scenario library used across all current workshops.
Her approach is direct: participants should leave each session having done something, not having heard about it.
Dmitri Vaněk
Negotiation Lead
Dmitri trained as a mediator and ran commercial negotiation workshops across Central Europe for eight years. He now leads the negotiation and conflict modules at Ytalex Quantantos.
Áine Tóibín
Written Communication
Áine's background is in technical writing and editorial work. She focuses on the written modules - email, reports, and professional correspondence - with particular attention to tone under pressure.
Yusuf Kılınç
Platform & Learning Design
Yusuf built the exercise framework that structures each workshop module. He draws on instructional design principles to ensure exercises are challenging without being ambiguous.
